Undress Runways 2016 saw an incredible collaboration between organisers, designers, stylists and artists to create a stunning platform for Australian sustainable fashion. With an aim to go global next year, the Undress team made sure they delivered on home ground first.
Undress, now in it’s 6th year, includes brands who embrace all branches of sustainable and ethical design. From upcycling to natural dyes and everything in between. With a stroke of luck I was seated next to Sarah Gregory, designer & founder of Jessie June The Label. Hearing Sarah talk about her design practices and her support of bear retirement sanctuaries in Thailand, Undress Runways became far more than a runway show. It’s shaking up the fashion industry.
